Cream & Fudge opens shop in Bareeq al Shatti
Our correspondent – The Cream & Fudge Factory, a fast-growing ice cream brand, has opened its first outlet in Oman at Bareeq al Shatti. Claiming to be the ‘creamiest ice cream on earth’, Cream & Fudge takes pride in its secret receipt and customizes each order with special toppings.
Cream & Fudge is one of nine brands owned by Global Franchise Architects <GFA>, a Geneva-based company that builds, operates and franchises speciality retail brands worldwide. Fair-trade Food Services <FFS> is the franchisee for the ice cream brand in Oman.
‘This is yet another diversification by the group. The food service sector in Oman is growing rapidly and consumers are looking for brands that delight them with exceptional, differentiated product offerings and a high standard of service,’ said Faisal al Lawati, director of FFS. ‘We see great potential in this sector and plan to introduce several other brands from GFA stable in the near future.’
Four outlets of Cream & Fudge are scheduled to open in 2009. shops are currently under construction in Seeb, MQ, Qurm and Al Khuwayr with 15 branches expected to open across the sultanate by 2011.
